Paris, Tenn.–Winners of the 26th Annual Photo Showcase were announced Sunday afternoon, with Judith Putnam’s photo “The Wedding Photographer” named Best In Show.
The showcase is sponsored each year by the Paris-Henry County Arts Council. The reception was held at the Lee Academy for the Arts, where the photos will be displayed through April 6.
Winners named in each category were:
Altered Images: first, Eye of the Eagle by Susan Corbin; second, Foggy Dock on Lake by Donna Reasons, third, Ghost Riders in the Sky by Christy Casey.
Architectural: first, The Louvre by Judith Putnam; second, Abandoned Railroad Bridge by Paula Walls; third, Under Route 79 Gray’s Landing by Christy Casey.
Downtown Paris: first, The Contender by Mike Grace; second, First Bank by Judith Putnam; and third, Fletcher Dental by Christy Casey.
Mobile: first, Chihuly in the Garden by Jane Baars; second, By the Sea by Winnie Jones; third, Hot Rod in Paris by Dale Reasons.
Natural World: first, Only the Strong Survive by Jane Baars; second, Berry Cold Day by Julia Hendrix; third Driftwood by Sandra Arnold.
People: first, Left Behind by Jason Bucher; second, Homeless by Karen Geary; third, Life Without Art is Meh by Tessa Byars.
Travel: first, Sunday Drive by Susan Corbin; second, Respect by Jane Baars
Wildlife and Animals: first, Brown Pelican by Mike Grace; second Thirsty Squirrel by Paula Walls; third Night Rider by Jason Bucher.
