Defense rests in Bobo case, closing arguments Thursday

The defense rested their case Wednesday afternoon in the murder trial of Zach Adams, one of the defendants in the 2011 murder of Holly Bobo.

Adams did not testify during his trial.

The state and defense will present closing arguments Thursday, the tenth day of the trial, with Judge Creed McGinley reading charges to the Hardin County jury Thursday morning.

McGinley stated he will not dismiss any counts against Adams.

Zach Adams, his brother Dylan Adams, and Jason Autry, are charged in the kidnapping, rape, and murder of 20-year-old UT Martin nursing student Holly Bobo.

Bobo disappeared in April 2011 from her home in Decatur County.
